The cover image represents an individual pausing in their life journey to stand in the center of compassion, surrounded by the love and support of the family circle. The four stars at each corner of the image symbolize the four corners of the earth and the heavens beyond. When we embrace the circle of Life, we learn to carry our true home and family within us wherever we journey. The colors in the image represent qualities cultivated through meaningful rites of passage: red for love and will forces, blue for tranquility and peace, green for growth and healing, and yellow for joy and celebration. The blue and green background coming together within the circle reminds us that we humans are made of earth and spirit. A person’s life journey is measured not so much by forward movement as it is measured by soulful deepening. When we are able to experience such soulful deepening together in the circle of family, we find inspiration and sustenance for living boldly with compassion. |
